Electrical Circuits and Machines — ENEE 154
Year I · Part II — Full theory, worked examples of every exam question type, most-probable Q&A, and four solved TU papers — mapped to the official syllabus.
How to use this: study each chapter’s theory and solved examples first, then drill the Most Probable Questions. Before the exam, work through the solved past papers and keep the formula sheet open for quick recall. Marks track lecture hours (60 total).

What repeats in PQA (study priority)
- Almost every paper: nodal or mesh with dependent sources + matrix; initial conditions at \(t=0^+\); classical RLC; Laplace switched circuit; asymptotic Bode; two-port Z/ABCD/h; short notes on machines.
- Machines block: transformer flux / OC–SC / efficiency; DC shunt numerical + back EMF / starter; 3-ph IM slip–torque + why \(N_r < N_s\); stepper / universal / hysteresis notes.
- High-weight theory: Ch2 (10) and Ch4–Ch5 (8 each) — allocate revision time accordingly.
